Appendix I: Example of Hard Targets - Introduction

These hard targets were with a mentor with a team leader in a cross-cultural church planting situation. He had a large team and was breaking his team up into 3 smaller teams which would network together. As a result his hard targets are for himself, his new team leaders and their teams. The team leaders names are simply one letter owing to security issues.

Global Goals

1. Reorganize the team into three teams. One team will be under W, a second under K, and the third under me (G).

2. Set up a schedule for the three team leaders to meet together weekly.

3. Determine who is going to be working with each of the gathering meetings of new believers.

The following are what I would see to be the HT's for each of the team leaders along with a time frame for implementation:

Family goals
*Have an evening with spouse twice a month
*have date with each child once every 2 months
*Watch baby during day or 1 evening/week so wife can get out (now)
